Security and How to Order

The purpose of this page is to provide added help for those placing an order and to explain the security of our online ordering system. You may want to print these instructions. First we will explain how to place an order:

• Place the item that you want to purchase in your shopping basket by clicking on "Buy" or "Add to Basket" (both will add item to your basket). Items placed in your basket can be removed at any time prior to the last step of ordering which is the "Submit Order" button.

• View the 'Shopping basket' at any time by clicking on the shopping basket icon or by ordering a product.

• If necessary, remove items from your shopping basket by clicking the "clear" button on your shopping basket screen.

• When you have finished filling your basket, press the "Proceed to Next Step" button on your shopping basket screen. You will be able to change the quantity of any item and to give your address and credit card information in this last step.

• The last page in the ordering process allows you to change the quantity of any item and to insert your address and shipping preferences. After you are satisfied that all information is correct, please print a copy of the page for your own records and then click on the "submit order" at the bottom of page. We will normally send an email message confirming the receipt of the order with a few hours or on the next working day if it is on a weekend. Orders are normally shipped within 24 hours. If the shipping method is by UPS, a tracking number will be sent to your email address after the order ships.

"Is it Safe to order on the Internet?"

Security is the most important portion of customer service for any business conducting commerce on the Internet today. Provided you are using an SSL-enabled (Secure Socket Layering) browser such as some versions of Microsoft's Internet Explorer or Netscape's Navigator, you'll be able to conduct end-to-end encrypted transactions without fear of an intermediary obtaining your credit card information.

Consumer Tip - For credit cards issued in the United States, federal law mandates that the credit card holder is responsible only for the first $50 in unauthorized charges. This also means that credit card insurance is not necessary. Some credit card companies even waive the first $50 in case of unauthorized used.
